Most people call him the hot one, but we know that Kyan Douglas really stands out as the spiritual center of the bunch. Like him, you probably know your way around a makeup counter or salon. But you also know that beauty's only skin deep. Mud masks and seaweed wraps? Sure, they're nice. But what's most important is taking care of both the inside and the outside — both your body and mind.
A big believer in figuring out what you want, then going after it, you know that it's important to take time out for yourself and find ways to relax and rejuvenate. And your uplifting spirit means that you encourage others to come along for the ride. So go on, take Kyan's advice and be good to yourself — you're not the only one who will benefit.

Too bad. I wanted Carson Kressley. He's my fave Fab Fiver!!! Haha... Sorry. nababangag ako!!! Woah. That's the first tagalog phrase I've written in this thing! Haha!!!
Anyway, we had a presentation in English a while ago, and it was sooo cute. It was better than what I expected. (It was "May Day Eve" by Nick Joaquin. I played ye old Anastacia...) Our favorite rapper-turned -teacher, (I don't wanna say names... somebody might get mad at me.) was absent. I wonder what happened to her?
Okay... Being serious... Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is sooo cool! I advice you to read this book. I know that I am only half-way through reading it, but it has already made an impact on me. Here are some passages that really touched my heart...
"Do I wither up and disappear, or do I make the best of my time left?... Am I going to withdraw from the world, like most people do, or am I going to live? I decided I'm going to live - or at least try to live - the way I want, with dignity, with courage, with humor, with composure."
"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."
"It's horrible to watch my body wilt away to nothing. But it's also wonderful because of all the time I get to say good-bye."
"Death... It's what everyone worries about, isn't it? What if today were my last day on Earth?.. the culture doen't encourage you to think about such things until you're about to die. We're so wrapped up with egotistical things, career, family, having enough money, meeting the mortgage, getting a new car, fixing the radiator when it breaks - we're involved in trillions of little acts just to keep going. So we do't get into the habit of standing back amd looking at our lives and saying, Is this all? Is this all I want? Is something missing?... You need someone to probe you in that direction. It won't just happen automatically."
"You see that? You can go out there, outside, anytime. You can run up and down the block and go crazy. I can't do that. I can't go out. I can't run. I can't be out there without fear of getting sick. But you know what? I appreciate the window more than you do... Yes. I look out that window every day. I notice the change in trees, how strong the wind is blowing. It's as if I can see time actually passing through that window-pane. Because I know my time is almost done, I am drawn to nature like I'm seeing it for the first time."
I wish it's already Saturday... I want to have another weekend. I hope to see through life better as time passes by...
