The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants... this DVD was given to me as a pasalubong... Okay, so you choose what DVD you like... choose between Batman Begins, Madagascar, Shrek 2, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and that- The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I've heard a lot about the "Traveling Pants" so I decided to get that one. I thought it was a good choice since it says "A rare movie that women of any age will appreciate."... and indeed it was true.
The first time I heard about this (or rather, read) was from Ray-ray's blog. It's actually her template. There was this quote "Laugh. Cry. Share the Pants." At first I thought, "Woah? How could that happen? (Share the pants.) Weird...", but after I finished watching the movie (yesterday), I understood what those words meant. It meant that the bond between those 4 friends, their memories and their unconditional love for each other will always prevail, even as time passes by. "Traveling Pants", as I like to call it, is a story about friendship (I easily fall for that theme. I know I mentioned that before... hehe.) and growing up. The movie had a "real" feeling in it (Why? It's not all about the mushy falling in love stuff... hehehe.)... and I must say, it's a must watch movie for all the people out there who want to know how strong a friendship can be... ^_^ (I guess boys can appreciate it too... hahaha. even if it's full of girly stuff.)
Oh well... I have no girl friends who grew up with me... All I'm stuck with is my boy cousin (9 months younger) who lives next door for as long as I could remember... -__- (Cousy, if you ever read this, don't get angry!!! ^_^) We played dolls, robots, lego, stuffed-toys, make-up clubs/ houses/ shops, PlayStation... practically everything that can be played... Even if we quarreled (change "quarreled" into "quarrel") every now and then (Especially when it comes to that 7-letter "P" word...), he'll always be a great part of me. (That's what I realized after the movie. *sob* *happy tear drop falls down*)
...Since I can't wait for the June 25 premiere of High School Musical, I'm actually downloading it!!! (98.7% of download completed) I hope I can watch it later... and till next time!!! It's 7:30! Gotta watch Pokemon!!! ^_^
