A tiring yet fun day
After my review class, we headed to my uncle's house in Xavierville to visit my balikbayan relatives. We went to Powerplant (and it was my first time to ever step in that mall... weird.) and we wall climbed! Yeah! ^_^ In my first climb, I just went for that flat-wall-with-rock-things-in-it... and I breezed through it, as if it was second-nature to me. (I love climbing just about anything, you know.) So, I tried the pretty hard one... I had a hard time climbing this one, it had this 90 degree dent before the last few steps, and I had a hard time pulling myself up. It looked easy, but it was sooo hard! I think it took me 30 minutes to finish that one. (Okay, I didn't exactly finish it. I was short by one rock. My energy was all drained out.) I wouldn't have pushed through if it wasn't for my determination (I'm a perfectionist, plus my Ash Ketchum attitude always keeps me going.) and Tito Mark's cheering up and support, I wouldn't have achieved that height. Woah. It felt so good. It was as if I was standing on top of the world... even though if I'm only about 50 feet off the ground... hahaha. I actually got a small wound on my palm because of that climbing, and my body right now is aching; but I like that feel. It feels good to know that you experience pain, you know... Well, at least for me. ^_^
After the wall climb, we ate at Jollibee, then headed to Fully Booked. I got my K-Zone June ish! (Yey for me!!!) Too bad, the Pokemon-part is only 2 pages long... It's about the "Top 6 Most Wanted Pokemon"... and Jigglypuff was only the host. hmph. (Jiggly!!! *angry squeal* Jigglypuff about to get its magic marker and draw all over the place.) Of course, Pikachu was Top 1 again.... rrrrrrr... (Jiggly!!! Jiggly puff puff puff!!! *crying* Translation: Waah!!! Why does it have to be always Pikachu!!!)
Then... because of my insisting that we go to Kidz Station, we went there, and I found... Pokemon!!! Yes, Pokemon!!! I was staring at them the whole time, trying to decide which one to buy... Then a boy of about 6 named Antonio suddenly said to me, "My name's Antonio! I'm going to buy Pokemon!!!" Wow. I was happy. Nothing's better than knowing that Pokemon's very very alive (Well... when it comes to Pokemon stuff of course.). I found out that this Antonio boy comes to Kidz Station everyday and buys 2 Pokemon figurines (Why 2? His dad limits him to only 2 per day.) everyday. Not surprisingly, the staff there already know him and asks him questions like "Who's this Pokemon?" Of course, he can't answer the others (like bellossom and heracross); and since I was there, I answered the question myself. Hahaha. Antonio's face lit up when he saw that I was knowledgeable about Pokemon. So, I gave him a small Pokemon talk about which evolves to which and the different Pokemon species (based on the figurines displayed, of course). The staff listened to me. Wow. Amazing!
I ended up getting this Pikachu keychain (since I had almost all the figurines displayed there... haha.) and later asked one of the staff if there were any other Pokemon-stuff they sold. I found out that all the decks were sold out and that only booster packs were left! Wow. Pokemon's really getting strong, alright. I can't wait for the National Championships!!! Yahoo!!!
Well... I still need to study for our Chemistry class for tomorrow. Till my next adventure!!!
