Christmas Time

It's only a month away until Christmas, and I'm once again getting that Christmas-y spirit, but in a different way.
I guess my view on life as a person has quite changed. Let's see... I do not surf the net as often as I would before, and I discovered that I can actually live without the net... I already look forward to Sunday mornings (well... except for getting up early) to go to church and listen to the pastor's sermons. I also barely watch TV now, except for Heroes and America's Next Top Model. But the most important thing about this changed way of life is that I am walking closer with God. ^_^
Anyway, on a lighter note (I love saying that. :D), I want to remind everyone that Christmastime is not just about "It's not about the gifts, but the love." or "Spread the love". It was the time (Though not the actual "when" that Jesus was born... Science says that He was born around summer.) that a Savior was born to redeem us from our sins so that we can the gap created by sin which separated us and our Holy God can be bridged by Him (Jesus).
Christmas is a time designated so that we can give our heartfelt thanks to God whose "lovingkindness and faithfulness endures forever." Of course, the gifts, the family gatherings, the vacation and the food are good, but the Savior is the best.
Advanced Merry Christmas everyone, and Happy Birthday, Jesus!!!-Kamae
